This pub is located at 1524 East Blvd. in the Dilworth area. It was ranked the highest rated pub in Charlotte with 4.5 stars out of 360 reviews on Yelp. Lebowski’s is locally owned and operated with a classic menu of all time bar favorites, over 70 craft and imported beers, cocktails and more.
2. Alexander Michael’s
Located in the Fourth Ward on 401 W. ninth Street. This local favorite has worked their way to 4.5 stars out of 353 reviews on Yelp. With tons of choices for beer on tap as well as bottled microbrews and imports. There’s an unlimited amount to pair with some of their popular appetizers like honey garlic barbecue wings or Caribbean jerk chicken quesadillas. Who doesn’t want a quesadilla while watching the Panthers dog out whatever team on a Sunday?
3. Hattie’s Tap & Tavern
We make our way over to Plaza- Midwood area with another local favorite in Charlotte. Hattie’s Tap & Tavern is located at 2918 The Plaza, receiving 5 stars out 42 reviews on Yelp. This dive bar will keep you on your toes and wanting more with many choices of ale and draft beers along with other choices like wine and cocktails. A great place to go after having brunch on a Sunday or for Thursday Night Football with your crew.
4. Jackbeagles
Another local favorite located at 3213 N. Davidson St., serves up the traditional American fare from sandwiches, burgers and mac-n-cheese. And don’t worry plenty of beer to choose from also in bottles and cans along with Bud Light, Budweiser and Coors Light. No wonder this place received four stars out of 315 Yelp reviews. You have to go and see for yourself to believe.
5. Flyer Saucer Draught Emporium
The last spot on the list is located close to Uptown on 9605 N. Tryon St., Suite A. Just on their drinks menu alone the restaurant offers an endless amounts of ale, IPAs and more. Their food menu offers the traditional with hot wings, soup and salad along with house made Hummus and pita chips and nacho libre with spiced Angus beef. Your game day outing could turn into a party with choices like these. Especially when earning four stars out of 256 reviews on Yelp.
With these top choices, you can’t go wrong on finding a place to watch your favorite NFL team or watching the NFL kick off tonight on NBC Charlotte when the Super Bowl Champions Philadelphia Eagles face off against the Atlanta Falcons.
