She did it! Serena Williams is the 2016 Wimbledon Women’s Champion!! She defeated Angelique Kerber (7-5, 6-3) & is now tied with Steffi Graf with 22 major titles, the most since the open era began. She also won the Women’s Doubles Finals with her sister Venus! They defeated Timea Babos & Yaroslava Shvedova (6-3. 6-4)! So Serena walks away with two trophies!! WOW! Congrats to one of the most dominant women to ever play the game, & at this rate by the time she retires, she’s on track to be the greatest female player of all time!
