Robert Sylvester Kelly born January 8, 1967 professionally known as R. Kelly, is a former basketball player and native of Chicago. His career highlights included producing the soundtrack to Space Jam starring Michael Jordan and Bugs Bunny. Kelly has recorded with or written for the biggest names in music both past and present. His range of music spans from gospel to hip hop, reggae to R&B. Despite some personal setbacks R. Kelly remains in demand. Happy Birthday Mr. Kelly
