Shouts to the one & only Missy Elliot who became the first female rapper nominated for the Songwriters Hall Of Fame! This a great honor, & she easily meets the stipulations to make it in (a songwriter or performer must have written hit songs for at least 20 years). In Elliott’s case, that’s easy! She’s written hits for Aaliyah, Gina Thompson, 702, Total, Nicole Wray, SWV…..I could go on & on & on! Too many to name! Congrats to you Miss Elliot, an honor well deserved!
