The most prestigious tennis grand slam of them all kicked off today, & that’s none other than the 2017 Wimbledon Championships! It takes place every year at the All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club, & it’s attended by tennis enthusiasts & celebrities alike. The defending champs are Andy Murray (Men’s Singles) & Serena Williams (Women’s Singles), & as we all know Serena won’t be playing this year due to her pregnancy. Her sister Venus has already advanced to the second round wining her first match (7-6, 6-4) over Elise Mertens. With Serena out the Women’s Title is up for grabs, so we’ll see what happens!
