Keeping Proverbs 3:5-6 top of mind, provided me with ease in the middle of many of my storms of life.  The scripture puts it like this, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.  In all your ways acknowledge him and he WILL make straight your paths.”

There is power in that Proverb because it assures us that if we just trust with everything we have without putting our own spin on it, knowing that his will is for our good, and that he will straighten out those crooked places we can relax and have unmovable confidence that everything is going to be alright.

I don’t know about you, but the times in my life when I have jumped in my situation and started doing what I thought should happen without waiting, I have made an unbelievable mess of things.

When we look back over our lives and we see what he has already done, and what he has already brought us through, it is proof positive that we are not forgotten.  All we have to do is encourage ourselves as we run the race knowing that our blessing is just over the finish line.
