Ne-yo and Kandi joined forces to record “Me & U” for Kandi’s upcoming album, “Kandi Koated,” which is due in stores December 14. The track samples the beat from ATL’s own OutKast. Says Kandi about the song:
I love that song, partially because [Ne-Yo’s] production team, they took the song ‘Elevators’ by OutKast and flipped the track. I’m an ATLien, and when he turned that track and flipped it, he made it into a love song.
