Us Magazine has officially retracted a story they posted this morning (Jul 30) that stated Alicia Keys
and Swizz Beatz got married, calling the mishap a “technological error.”
The couple was said to have exchanged vows in a secret ceremony last Sunday, with a pregnant Keys rumored to walk down the aisle in a designer Vera Wang gown.
In a retraction, Us Magazine editors posted the following: “Alicia Keys hasn’t wed. It was a technological error on our behalf – and we apologize.”
Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton also claimed a rep for Keys “confirmed that the two had a small ceremony on Sunday in front of close family and friends.” He even gives details about her gown and shoes — as though the wedding really took place.
