Due to the government shutdown, Congresswoman Adams is needed back in Washington. As a result, she has had to reschedule her Third Annual State of the District Address and Swearing In Ceremony. The event will now take place on Sunday, January 27, 2019 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm in Gambrell Auditorium on the campus of Johnson C. Smith University, 100 Beatties Ford Road, Charlotte, NC 28216.
During the State of the District town hall, Congresswoman Adams will recap accomplishments in 2018, share her vision for the upcoming year, and hear thoughts on issues impacting the District. Please print your ticket and bring it with you to the State of the District Address and Swearing In Ceremony on January 27.
