Since his days in the R&B band “The Deele”, to his production run with his partner Babyface, to starting the mega label LaFace (with Babyface as well), to breaking off & running it solo, to running Def Jam Records, to “American Idol”, to running Epic Records, to now dropping a book, L.A.
