A waitress at Brixx restaurant lost her job after she posted disparaging comments about a costumer on her Facebook page. The woman complained that a couple stayed for three hours, making her work an extra hour, and then left her a $5 tip.
When she got home, she went on Facebook. “Thanks for eating at Brixx,” she wrote, “you cheap piece of —- camper,” according to a story in the Charlotte Observer.
Her post violated Brixx’ policy against speaking disparagingly about customers.
With customers like that, I don’t blame the waitress for being frustrated. It seems like the company could have suspended her. Termination seems a bit harsh especially considering the nonsense waiters and waitresses have to put up with. What do you think?
