(COBB COUNTY, Ga.) — A Georgia jail inmate who recently traveled to Africa reportedly tested negative Friday for the Ebola virus after he developed a fever.
The Cobb County Sheriff’s Office said one test is still outstanding, but also expect that test to return negative, WSB-TV reports.
The jail was no longer accepting inmates after the man developed a fever, county officials said. He was arrested Thursday night for driving under the influence.
