Cam Newton and The Cam Newton Foundation along with volunteers from Second Harvest Food Bank and The Fillmore, will host “Cam’s Thanksgiving Jam” on Monday. At the event more than 700 underprivileged kids (and some family members) will be served a traditional Thanksgiving meal. In addition to the meal, guests will receive a ham, bag full of canned goods and a pie. The hope is that this gift will provide a Thanksgiving meal for their family. The event will feature entertainment for the kids – a DJ, face painters, balloon artists, and local radio personalities. Newton will be serving and interacting with the guests. The event starts at 6 p.m. at the Fillmore on Monday.
