Major League Baseball is seeking to suspend some of the biggest names in baseball based a story ESPN broke on Biogenesis of America, an anti-aging clinic connected to performance-enhancing drugs.
Among the big names included in this scandal are N.Y. Yankee Alex Rodrigues who is one of the highest paid players, Ryan Braun, Melky Cabrera and Bartolo Colon.
According to the ESPN report, Major League Baseball is seeking to suspend about 20 players connected to the Miami-area clinic at the heart of an ongoing performance-enhancing drug scandal possibly within the next few weeks, “Outside the Lines” has learned. If these suspensions are upheld, the performance-enhancing drug scandal would be the largest in American sports history.
