The Phoenix Suns got 24 points and four fourth-quarter 3-pointers from Shannon Brown to hold off the Charlotte Bobcats 117-110 Wednesday at Time Warner Cable Arena.

Brown was with the Bobcats several seasons ago before being included in the trade that sent Adam Morrison to the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Bobcats got 24 points from Byron Mullens, who made six 3-pointers. The Bobcats fell to 1-2.

The Bobcats made up most of a 16-point deficit in the last five minutes of the third quarter to trail 85-81 entering the final period. They made 13-of-22 field-goal attempts in the third. Mullens scored 12 in the third and rookie Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, after going scoreless in the first half, had seven in the third.

While the Bobcats shot only 42 percent overall, they made nine of 17 from 3-point After doing a good job in their first two games of minimizing their turnovers, the Bobcats lost the ball nine times in the first half. Kidd-Gilchrist committed two turnovers in the game’s first 2 and a half minutes.

Jordan got to make some changes if he don’t want a loosing season the same as last year.
