Iredell County Resident Wins Largest Digital Jackpot in NC History

If you played the lottery and you live in Iredell County, you may want to check your tickets. An Iredell county resident hit the jackpot, winning the largest digital instant prize in North Carolina lottery history on Monday, Oct. 21. The record-breaking $1.3 million prize came from a $10 Bison Bonanza ticket, with odds of winning set at 1 in 3.1 million. According to WBTV, the winner has 180 days to claim their winnings.
This significant win follows a previous Epic Jackpot victory on Sept. 7, when a player in Hudson won $307,493 with the Wheel of Bonuses game. After that win, the jackpot was reset to $50,000 and has steadily grown since.
