Coach George Williams, the St. Augustine’s University, Athletic Director & Head Track and Field Coach became a national figure when the secret to so many of the student athletes at the 2016 Olympics in Rio were directly linked to his incredible 40 year training.

He talks to the Tom Joyner Morning Show about how he got his start and reveals who he’d want to play him in movie about his life.

“HBCUs have been represented for years and years, but it’s very rare that we get this kind of recognition. I’ve coached over 39 Olympians. Most of these students started going to the majority schools, because we didn’t have the money,” Williams said.
