No Arrests In Murder Of Father At Mattapan Barber Shop

A Boston community is left saddened after a man was gunned down in front of a local barbershop, according to CBS Boston.

The victim, thirty-one-year old Marcus Hall, was killed in front of Hair It Is in Mattapan while his 4-year-old son was inside getting a haircut. Hall was shot six times, twice in the head, WCVB reports.

Authorities say the shooting happened around noon. Police Chief Willie Gross told CBS Boston it doesn’t appear to be a random act of violence.

Shiaka McIntosh, mother of Hall’s son, says she worries how her child will receive the news.

“I don’t know how I’m gonna tell him he’s not gonna see his father again,” she said. “His father he loved his son he was definitely in his son’s life.”

According to CBS Boston, the shooter is still on the loose, authorities have not made any arrests and continue their investigation.
