Terrence Howard

Terrence Howard once watched his father kill a man as they waited in line to see the film Santa Claus during the holidays.

While speaking to Rolling Stone, he revealed that he was just two years old, and the killing occurred in front of other children and families. PEOPLE reports:

A scuffle between his father, Tyrone Howard, and another man in line ended in the latter’s death. In a new profile in Rolling Stone, Howard, 46, discusses the 1971 incident, for which his father was sentenced to prison on manslaughter charges. As a result of the “Santa Line Slaying,” Howard’s father ended up serving 11 months in prison, at which point he was paroled for good behavior.

Terrence also spoke about learning to stand up for himself, and his opinion that successful men these days are more “effeminate:”

“My daddy taught me, ‘Never take the vertebrae out of your back or the bass out of your throat. I ain’t raisin’ sheep. I raised men. Stay a man,’” Howard recalls. “But being a man comes with a curse because it’s not a society made for men to flourish anymore. Everything is androgynous, you know? The more successful men now are the effeminate.”

2015 Tribeca Film Festival - World Premiere Narrative: 'Maggie'

Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s got a new gig, ladies and gentlemen.

The actor and politician is all set to replace Donald Trump as the new host of Celebrity Apprentice. NBC made the announcement on Monday:

The former California governor, although he’s not a billionaire like Trump, is a good fit for the show, which will return for the 2016-17 season, the network said.

Do you think Arnold will make a good host?

Violence erupted at a comedy show Mike Epps was performing at in Phoenix this past weekend.

TMZ reports:

Epps was performing Friday at StandUpLive in Phoenix when he started clowning a guy in the front row for wearing a flannel shirt, saying he looked like the guy from Hootie & the Blowfish.

Everyone laughed but the doppelgänger, who got so PO’d he stood up and began yelling back at Epps. Security closed in, the guy stood up to leave and got jumped by some guys in the crowd. One witness says he saw someone sucker punch the guy.

We got video of the aftermath … the guy is out cold on the ground and clearly hurt. Cops are investigating.

Mike apologized for the incident, saying: “…to all my fans and anyone that got hurt at my show! I never hurt anyone I was just doin’ what I do, cracking jokes.”
