Oldschool 105.3 has learned that Dr. Dre will not be a millionaire after Apple gets Beats by Dre.
According to The Urban Daily, Apple wanted to purchase the headphones company for $3.2 billion leaving the media and fans to assume the Hip Hop legend was going to become a billionaire, well we have learn that is not going to happen.
Dre only owns 20-25% of the Beats by Dre Company, according to Forbes, and with the sale after taxes, the rapper will only receive a net worth of $800 million.
This sale from Apple would make him the richest rapper, leaving him with $100 million that puts him above Diddy, who was recently named the world’s richest rapper.
