I guess I’m tardy to the party! Last night, I’m in Claibornes registering people to win prizes. One of those prizes was an autographed book of Al Sharpton’s “The Rejected Stone.” So, imagine my surprise when my friend Adrian commented, “Uh! You have Al’s new book! Have you seen his girlfriend? He’s got a dimepiece!”
WHAT? Al Sharpton has a girlfriend? Stop playing! For Real? Sure enough, he pulled it up on the internet! HOW DID I MISS THIS? I went on to read that Al and his wife announced their separation in 2004 after 24 years of marriage. Hummm…separated…not legally divorced. Well, this means he’s still married, right? Oh, well! Then it stated that Al Sharpton, 58, is dating 35 year old Aisha McShaw, a personal stylist.
Apparently, one thing is for sure, Ms. McShaw refuses to be HIS secret. She let the cat out of the bag when she told the NY Daily Times at an event last year that she WAS Al’s girlfriend. In true pimp style, he walked over and whisked her away from the reporter. Dat dern Al Sharpton…Do it Al!!!
