Looks like former Carolina Panthers coach John Fox will need heart surgery.

Fox’s current team Denver Broncos,  spokesman says Fox will undergo aortic valve replacement surgery later this week.

Fox knew that he needed surgery, but wanted to keep it postponed til February when the Footaball season ended.

Broncos spokesman says Fox was golfing at Quail Hollow Club in South Charlotte Saturday when he felt light-headed and became dizzy.

Fox coached the Panthers from 2002-2010.
