News reports say the Godfather of Go-Go Chuck Brown reportedly died today after a nearly monthlong hospital stay. Brown, 75, had battled  pneumonia since last month. He died at John Hopkins Hospital University hospital in Baltimore. According to the Washington Post, Brown was a Gaston native.
