Starting the month, every household will receive a Census survey in the mail. It’s only 10 questions and it takes 10 minutes, and every response counts. The census data determines how much money we receive from the government, and it tells about who we are as a community. We know Charlotte is changing, but the census puts real numbers to the changes we see every day.

Are there more African Americans living in Charlotte now than there were 10 years ago? How are we changing and growing? We won’t know unless each of does our part and fills out the survey.

It only take 10 minutes, and it’s as important as that ballot you cast last November.

Below is a video from the Charlotte census kickoff in January.
