Black women love their hair! We will spend hours upon hours in the salon getting our tresses “fried, dyed and laid to the side.” Well, at least some of us will.
Many African American women have made the choice to end the process of chemically relaxing their hair, opting to wear their hair in its natural state. This t-shirt was made for these women. It’s a cute shirt with a powerful message. Even though I am still a part of the “Creamy Crack Crew,” I love the message behind the shirt because it is an affirmation that we don’t have to conform.
With that said, “don’t tell me to relax.”
