The rancor during last night’s Charlotte-Mecklenburg School Board meeting rose to acrimonious levels as accusations of racism flew, rudeness prevailed and a few people were handcuffed. The board voted to close Waddell High and make it the new home for Smith Language Academy, a K-8 magnet.
