The Florida Classic, pitting Florida A&M versus Bethune Cookman, is one of the biggest HBCU football rivalries for football and marching bands. Tonight, ESPNU will begin the five-part series “Battle of the HBCU Bands.” Dallas Austin produced the program which like “Drumline” meets “Making the Band.” It’s a behind the scenes look at what it takes to make it on the squad of an HBCU marching band. The show premieres tonight at 6:30 p.m. and spotlights Florida A&M and Bethune Cookman.
