It should only take about five minutes to clean up your bedroom each morning before you leave the house.
1) Make your bed! As soon as you get out of bed, turn around and make it. The room will instantly feel neater and cleaner.
2) Clean off the night tables. If you have books or magazines on your night tables, invest in a basket or drawer to keep them off of the top of the nightstand.

3) De-clutter the tops of your dresser. A decorative vase, candle or picture frame is really all you need. Have a small basket or dish for the little extra’s that you take from your pockets or your jewelry. Empty it on the weekend when you do a more thorough cleaning. Use the decorative vase for your spare change.
4) Pick up all of your clothes. Have a hamper handy for dirty items. Put hooks on the back of your bedroom door to hang up robes, jackets and other articles of clothing. Go through the items on the weekend and hang up or wash as needed. Invest in a shoe rack or shelves and place your shoes in them as soon as they come off your feet!
