Lil’ Kim Announces ‘Hard Core’ Symphony In Brooklyn
Lil’ Kim Announces A ‘Hard Core’ Symphony – Get Your Fits Ready Now

Lil’ Kim fans, come to the front because the Queen Bee is cooking up something special.
Kim is bringing her historic debut album, Hard Core, back to Brooklyn, and she’s not coming alone. She will celebrate the album’s 30th anniversary with a one-night-only performance alongside Thee Phantom & The Illharmonic Orchestra.
Mixing classical music with hip-hop, Lil’ Kim continues to show us why she remains a hip-hop icon.
The Lil’ Kim Hard Core Symphony takes over Kings Theatre on November 19. We could hear “Crush on You” with strings, “Big Momma Thang” backed by horns and “No Time” filling the historic theater.
The girls are ready.
Kim released Hard Core in 1996 and gave women in hip-hop another way to show up. She rapped about sex on her terms, matched the men bar for bar and made high fashion part of her music.
This concert is already giving nostalgia. It’s giving colorful wigs, nipple pasties, dramatic styling, furs and designer labels mixed with formal flair.
