Charlie Alderman, a student at Wesleyan and contributor to HuffingtonPost.com, took analogies to another level with his list If Rappers Were Colleges. Alderman assigned rappers to a school and described the rapper … and thus the school. The list is hilarious. Some of my personal favorites were:
- 50 Cent: Duke – So fun to hate.
- Ludacris: University of Virginia – Not in the conversation for best of all time, but has been doing the same thing as well as it can be done for longer than you can remember.
- Lil Wayne: UC Berkley – Genuinely brilliant, spirited, enjoys herbal refreshment, has weapons around without clear reason, has brief, largely symbolic experiences in jail, aura of anarchy, not guaranteed survival.
