Wake Forest to Face Notre Dame in 2027 Duke’s Mayo Classic
Wake Forest will face Notre Dame in the 2027 Duke’s Mayo Classic at Bank of America Stadium, according to WCNC. The annual season-opening college football game returns the two teams to a matchup originally scheduled for 2020 but canceled due to COVID-19. A date for the 2027 game has not yet been set. Fans can register for pre-sale access on the Duke’s Mayo Classic website. Wake Forest opens its 2025 season on Aug. 29 against Kennesaw State in Winston-Salem, while Notre Dame kicks off against Miami at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami on Aug. 31.
