Daimler Truck Financial to Build $7.8M CLT HQ, Add 276 Jobs
Daimler Truck Financial Services USA will establish its new U.S. headquarters in Charlotte, bringing 276 jobs to Mecklenburg County, Governor Josh Stein announced Tuesday.
The company, the financial arm of Daimler Truck North America, plans to invest over $7.8 million in a 60,000-square-foot facility in the Ballantyne area. According to WCNC, the new headquarters will consolidate operations currently based in Michigan and Texas and will include administrative, HR, and financial departments.
DTFS supports Daimler Truck brands such as Freightliner, Western Star, and Thomas Built Buses, providing financing, leasing, and insurance services to commercial vehicle customers across the country.
