Report Released Years Later on 2023 Plane Landing in CLT

The National Transportation Safety Board on Tuesday released its full report on a rare 2023 emergency landing in Charlotte involving a Delta Air Lines flight.
On June 28, 2023, Flight 1092 was forced to land at Charlotte Douglas International Airport without its front landing gear deployed. The flight had departed from Atlanta more than an hour earlier.
According to WBTV, the plane’s landing gear malfunctioned as it descended, and a cockpit warning light indicated a problem with the nose gear. Despite attempts to deploy it both normally and manually, the nose gear failed.
The pilots executed an emergency landing without the front gear. None of the 101 people on board—including two pilots, three flight attendants, and 96 passengers—were injured.
