Hornets Secure No. 4 Pick in NBA Draft Lottery
The Charlotte Hornets will pick fourth in the 2025 NBA Draft after landing the No. 4 overall selection during May 12th’s draft lottery.
The announcement was made during ESPN’s NBA Draft Lottery show. Charlotte entered the lottery with a 14% chance to secure the top pick.
According to WBTV, the Dallas Mavericks, with just a 1.8% chance, won the No. 1 pick for the first time in franchise history. The San Antonio Spurs and Philadelphia 76ers received the second and third picks, respectively, rounding out the top four along with the Hornets.
The 2025 NBA Draft is scheduled for June 25–26 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
