Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools to Close Wednesday Due to Severe Storms
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools will be closed on Wednesday, March 5, due to expected severe weather. According to WBTV, the district cited the potential for strong wind gusts, which could reach up to 50 mph, particularly during the morning commute.
As a result of the storm conditions, all school activities, including ASEP, extracurriculars, athletics, facility use, and before- and after-school programs, are canceled.
