Fire at Harris Teeter in Ballantyne Deemed Intentionally Set

A two-alarm fire at a Harris Teeter in the Blakeney shopping center in Ballantyne has been ruled intentionally set, per WCCB. The fire broke out around 9 p.m. Friday night, and it took 60 firefighters nearly an hour to bring the flames under control. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. No injuries have been reported. Local authorities are asking anyone with information about the incident to come forward as the investigation continues. The store remains closed as repairs are underway.
