Residents impacted by Hurricane Helene are facing uncertainty as the deadline for FEMA’s hotel voucher program nears. According to WCCB, the program, which has provided temporary housing for displaced families, is set to end on January 25. With just days remaining, many individuals and families living in FEMA-funded hotels are concerned about their next steps.

FEMA has urged residents to explore other housing assistance options, but many are still in limbo, uncertain of where they will go once the program ends. Local officials are calling for more support to ensure those affected by the storm don’t fall through the cracks.
