According to research, women are among the most financially stressed groups in the U.S., with Gen Z also feeling significant pressure over money.
The study, which surveyed 1,000 American adults, points to factors such as student loan debt, the gender pay gap, and stagnant wages as key contributors to financial anxiety. About one in three Americans report having a fear of debt, underscoring the widespread concern. Women, in particular, face unique challenges, with financial stress exacerbated by persistent income disparities. The findings highlight the growing financial burdens felt by younger generations and women in today’s economic climate.
