The Catawba Two Kings Casino in Kings Mountain has donated hundreds of toys, valued at about $20,000, to regional Toys for Tots organizations serving York and Cleveland counties. According to WCCB, the toys were collected from casino patrons and employees, along with purchases made by the casino ($3,000), casino consultant Delaware North ($5,000), and Gaming Capital Group ($3,000, plus truck rental for distribution).
Over the past several weeks, the casino encouraged donations of new, unwrapped toys, making this the fourth consecutive year that the casino and Delaware North have organized the Toys for Tots drive. The donation will help provide holiday gifts to children in need across the region.
