Many families are still dealing with the fallout from Hurricane Helene and unfortunately, will be for some time. However, if you live in a federally declared disaster area such as: Georgia; South Carolina; North Carolina and Alabama, along with several counties in Florida, Virginia and Tennessee that have been declared FEMA Disaster Areas, there are more relief options for you. As Jackie explains, residents that live in those “federally declared disaster areas” are now eligible for certain tax-related disaster relief.
