In a surprising turn of events, actor and comedian Kevin Hart has closed all four locations of his plant-based fast food chain, Hart House. Launched in 2022, Hart House aimed to promote a plant-based lifestyle, and Hart himself had mostly transitioned to plant-based eating in 2020. The sudden closure has left fans wondering why the doors were shut so abruptly.
Hart House CEO Andy Hooper released a statement thanking the chain’s loyal customers, staff, and community partners, but did not give an official reason for the closures. Despite positive reviews of the plant-based menu, Hart House locations in Los Angeles and beyond have all ceased operations.
