NC Gov. Comments on Biden’s Decision to Drop From 2024 Race

North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper issued a statement Saturday in response to President Joe Biden’s announcement that he will not seek reelection in 2024. According to WCCB, Governor Cooper praised President Biden’s leadership and acknowledged the president’s impact while in office. Lastly, Governor Cooper was grateful to call President Biden a friend. In the mean time, the governor of North Carolina has endorsed current Vice President Kamala Harris to represent the Democratic Party for the 2024 Presidential election. Many are calling for Governor Cooper to be the running mate for Vice President Kamala Harris.
