Maronzio Vance refused to acknowledge the word no. The Charlotte native and West Charlotte graduate used this philosophy to his advantage. He didn’t allow the no he heard during his first audition for NBC’s Last Comic Standing to keep him from trying out again. Good thing too because if he had, he would have forfeited an opportunity to be among the show’s season 7 semi-finalists.
The show returned to NBC on June 7 after a two-year hiatus. Vance made it to the semi-finals based on a combination of judge comments and audience votes.
