BET held the 10th Anniversary BET Awards last night in Los Angeles. I vowed I wasn’t watching because it is usually full of coonery and I couldn’t stand to watch that. I , along with millions of viewers, were totally surprised. BET did a decent job last night. The 10th Anniversary edition offered several throwback moments that only those over 30 could enjoy. It featured several memorable moments and could be classified as the start of a night of redemption for the network, Chris Brown and El Debarge.

- The comeback of El Debarge (who I hear has an album coming out soon)
- A tribute to Prince (though it was a lackluster tribute in my opinion)
They also gave a stellar MJ tribute featuring Chris Brown.
It was a night of redemption for BET, Chris Brown and El Debarge.
