My92.7 talk show host Patrick D. Cannon was elected unanimously by the Charlotte City Council, to serve as Charlotte’s Mayor Pro Tem last night. Cannon returns to the seat once occupied to replace Susan Burgess who resigned because she has terminal cancer.
He stated at last night’s meeting, “In as much as I welcome the title, I still regard it as hers.”
Since 2007, Cannon has hosted “Aiming With Cannon Live,” a weekly public affairs talk show. It broadcasts on Saturdays from 9 a.m. – 10 a.m.
