Bring your money and your appetite uptown this weekend for the 12th annual Taste of Charlotte.
More than 25 restaurants, including Mert’s, will participate in the event. Entertainment includes live bands, a children’s area and dance performances.
The event takes place on Tryon Street on Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. -11 p.m. On Sunday, hours are 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. The Square closes at 2 p.m. Thursday. Tryon Street between Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Sixth Street will close at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
The cross streets will re-open from 6:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. on Friday, with the exception of Trade Street. All streets will re-open by midnight on Sunday.
