The summer of 1988 I was at Johnson C. Smith for the NYSP camp with my cousins. I have several memories from that summer, but the most vivid is the “popular group” that was made up of Dee Dee and LaQuon (shout out to them both) dancing to “It Takes Two” by Rob Base and DJ Ez Rock. It’s still a hip-hop classic in my book. I wonder if Dee Dee and Quon could still do the dance moves? Maybe I will call them and see if we can get a video of that?!
