Leaders from Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools and Central Piedmont Community College will speak tonight, but on Thursday the public will have a chance to speak at a public hearing.

The other workshops will be held in June.

The proposed spending plan includes $81.1 million in cuts to county services, education and other services, including about 440 layoffs. County commissioners are set to approve it June 15.
