My sweet little home town of Salisbury made a big decision last week!
They voted to name “Jake the Steak” as the city’s official mascot.
After debating the topic for more than an hour, the committee voted 3-1 in honor of having a piece of meat represent our city.
And yes, there really are plenty of places in Salisbury to get a great “Salisbury Steak!”
I advice you to get the mashed potatoes to go with it and wash it down with a Cheerwine, while you are at it!
