Gotta send a big Happy Birthday shout to one of the best performers (in any genre, the one & only MC Hammer! I can remember when they debuted his video on Rap City for “Let’s Get I Started”. I was trippin’ because it was shot in Beta, not film, which gave it that real “VCR home video” look! Hahahaha!!! But what was crazy is that song was hittin’ & this dude was killin’ it with tha dance moves!! Needless to say his next video “Pump It Up” was shot in film & that one was even more dope. Then his second album came out with “U Can’t Touch This” being the lead single & it was a WRAP! Today he’s about to kick off a tour called “Hammer’s House Party” with other major artists from that era! Enjoy your day brotha & please Hammer…..don’t hurt’em!!
